Pure Water Window Cleaning

When you think of a window cleaner, what image comes to mind? Do you think of someone carrying an applicator and squeegee in a bucket of soapy water in one hand, with a long ladder expertly balanced on the opposite shoulder? I am in no way knocking this type of window cleaning, as this is how we started out ourselves, & at times we still like to use the “traditional method” on some jobs. (I shall be posting another blog in the future about this method.)

However I decided to use this blog as a way for our customers to know exactly how their windows are being cared for and maintained. And also to dispel any misunderstandings or misinformation about the pure water method when it comes to window cleaning.

What is pure water?

Pure water happens when all minerals & contaminants have been removed. We achieve this by first harvesting rain water, which is then filtered multiple times to remove any impurities. This is achieved without the use of chemical additives, & is thus better for the environment.

How does it work?

At Blue Sky cleaning we use a high reach water fed pole and brushes. This alleviates the need for ladders, which gives you more privacy, and as a bonus is safer for us. With our high reach pole we can also clean Velux windows and Dormer windows from the outside, which can be difficult to reach when using a ladder.

Both the windows and frames are washed and rinsed thoroughly. The pure water acts as a magnet to attract dirt and grime from your glass. The windows will initially appear to be wet, but don’t panic, this is normal with the pure water system. As they dry, you will find that no streaks or residue will remain. Your windows will literally sparkle!
